Embossed Anniversary
I cannot believe ANOTHER year has passed so quickly! It seems like I just sent my BF back in Texas an anniversary card for her 17th. Do we get busier as we grow older and that is why it seems to go by so much faster or what? If you have an answer for that question please comment for me so I can understand! OK, back to the card - it was embossed with a cuttlebug folder and embellished with rhinestone stickies, Stampin' Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes and SU! medium Oval and Word Window punches.

For the Newlyweds
One of my friends has a daughter that is getting married later this month. Her colors are black and white and I actually love these colors together for any card! I love this embossing folder and when the little black stickies are added it just does something to make this card appealing. Throw in an over-sized striped ribbon and this baby is ready for sending. I hope these newlyweds have a wonderful and long life together.

Gecko Birthday
My little niece turns 7 (!) on the 19th and she has 3 large geckos that she just loves so when I made her card the gecko stamp came out for it's debut. It is embossed with a pearly blue embossing powder and colored with Stampin' Write markers. The card is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and the eyes are celery rhinestone stickies.

Crypt Happy
Another Halloween card using Elegant Eggplant, Kiwi Kiss and Basic Black. I think I like the use of the web embossing folder on this one instead of the crimped diamond. Adds a little more of the creep factor. The skull is embossed with Black embossing powder and the Kiwi Kiss ribbon is accented by black edging with a Stampin' Write Marker.

Meeyow
Crimped diamond technique on Basic Black. Elegant Eggplant and Kiwi Kiss add some color and the embossed kitty is just so cute!

Dazzling Diamonds Spider
I love the Spider Web embossing folder so I have played with it a bit in the past few cards. I put Dazzling Diamonds on select strands of the web to make it a little spooky. If you can't see it here just click on the photo and it will get bigger for you. I wish I had made the card with the Whisper White card stock before the ones with 'just' the vellum. I think it looks so much better with a ww background. I suppose I could redo the others but I am feeling pretty lazy about that. ;] Let me know which one YOU prefer!!! I have a few more Halloween cards to share and I will post one, maybe two, a day through Thursday then I am off for the weekend to Vegas, baby! Be nice lady luck because Robin needs new stamps!!!

Rx Get Well
This card is for a poor dog that got attacked by a pit bull in her own home. A pit bull chewed through the fence and came in the doggie door and attacked Mariah (with over 50 bites nose to tail!) in her own kitchen!!! Thank goodness Mariah is a Newfoundland or she surely would not have survived this vicious attack. Their vet said she is very lucky. BTW this dog belongs to my friend that has the same birthday as my dad.

Pink Pirouette Agapanthus
So, I have a friend who has the same birthday as my dad. How handy is that? I will never forget her birthday! I could not get my groove on with this card for some reason but aside from the crooked ribbon it turned out alright. I have fixed the ribbon since the photo because the card has to be just so before it can be sent, right? I stamped the Pink Pirouette card with Pretty in Pink then used Pretty in Pink card stock stamped with Versa Mark and pink embossing powder on the agapanthus. A piece of vellum separates the two.

Brayered Silhouettes
I saw this technique and totally CASE'd this card from Sandi MacIver. My dad has a birthday next week and when I failed to send him a hand made card for Father's Day he let me know about it so this event definitely deserves a card made by me for him since he actually missed my own creations. Flattery comes in all forms. I mean who would have thought my DAD would say something about a store bought card? Funny. I tore a piece of copy paper to brayer the mountains and rock then used Basic Black ink and Versa Mark with Gold embossing for the plant life. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer! Thanks for stopping by.
