Sad Day

My beautiful friend of 17 years has gone to kitty heaven today. I am very sad. I got this little kitty when she was just 4 weeks old and she had perfect health all but the last 3 months and she just dwindled until I had to get her help today. Good bye little Tazzie. I will miss you terribly.

A Fine Time to Wine

My friend Heather has a birthday Sunday and she is a wine enthusiast so I found it only fitting to give her a wine themed card and the little butterfly punch lady with a cocktail in hand came to mind so she had to be on it. Here she is sipping a glass of vino while enjoying the view of a Paso Robles vineyard. Paso Robles is the wine country of the southwest coastal area of California and it is much closer to me, less expensive, more friendly and the wines are fantastic. Normally Heather sips white in the summer but white wouldn't show up in this glass so we'll just pretend it's a nice bold Zinfandel and she will be pleased with that! This is a photo from one the many visits I have made there. I printed it off on regular paper and trimmed it to fit the card. Cheers!

Simple Birthday

Hello all! I got my mini heart punch in the other day and needed to use it immediately, of course. This simple little card is the product of my 'need' . The little hearts are popped up with dimensionals to add a little, well, dimension. =]

Back Home

Hello All~

I have made a safe return home and it feels great to be here. My mom is doing much better - thank you for the prayers and concern. She still has a few things to work through and has 3 more doctor appointments this week but the family feels pretty confident that her physical well being is on the upside.

I plan to get into my card studio soon and post some pretties before the week is done. Until then - always be happy!
