Texas Bound

Hey All,

I must head for the Lone Star state for about a week as my mom has become ill and had 3 surgeries in 6 days. She is 81 and I hate that she's having to go through all of this but the news yesterday sounded more promising than it has been. I don't like leaving my job in a bind but I can't help that at the moment. They have been very understanding and are letting me basically go and do what needs to be done because I only get one mom. The Curves girls in Bakersfield rock! I should be back on the 31st and I will give an update and maybe be able to make some cards again! Until then - always be happy! =]

Hydrangea Greetings

I needed several cards pronto and this is the design I came up with in a pinch. Very simple. The thing that took the longest was getting all the rhinestones stuck to the paper and not my fingers! Thanks for stopping by.

Punchy Birthday

Oh, my goodness isn't she FUN? I saw this card over on Ellen Kemper's blog and knew I had to make one! I used the Round Tab punch for her hair and embossed the cocktail on vellum so it would look more glass like. I wish I was sitting right there beside her in the bar overlooking a tropical paradise. I love the tropics! And Jacque, if you've flipped onto my blog to get a sneak peek at your birthday card, THIS is it. I hope you like it. =] ***Smoochies***
